Notice is hereby given that the Camden County Workforce Investment Board (CCWIB) is requesting proposals for a variety of services to the Workforce New Jersey General Assistance and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families population from July 1, 2008 thru June 30, 2009 (08-DHS-01). Copies of the Request for Proposals are available at the CCWIB office, 420 Benigno Boulevard, Suite B, Bellmawr, New Jersey 08031. For additional information contact the CCWIB office at 856-931-9999.
Proposals must be submitted to the CCWIB office, 420 Benigno Boulevard, Bellmawr, New Jersey 08031. Proposals are scheduled to be opened on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 12:00 Noon. Any proposals received after said opening, whether by mail or otherwise will be returned unopened. No proposals will be accepted after the above referenced date and time. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the name of the RFP clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. Proposals may not be e-mailed, faxed or transmitted over the telephone.
It is recommended that each proposal be hand delivered to the CCWIB office. The CCWIB assumes no responsibility for delays in any form of carrier, mail or delivery service causing the proposal to be received at the CCWIB office later than the above-referenced scheduled opening.
All proposers are required to attend a mandatory pre-proposal conference to be held at the Camden County One-Stop, 2600 Mt. Ephraim Avenue, Suite 105, Auditorium, Camden, New Jersey 08104 on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. Failure to attend this conference will be cause for rejection.
Nothing herein is intended to exclude any responsible firm or in any way restrain or restrict competition. All responsible firms are encouraged to submit proposals.
The CCWIB reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted in the best interest of the CCWIB and the CCWIB further reserves the right to waive any defect or informality in any proposal should it be in the best interest of the CCWIB.
Proposers are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27).
Proposers are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1999, c. 238 (N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.48 to 57), where applicable.
This Request For Proposals does not constitute a bid and is intended solely to obtain competitive proposals from which the CCWIB may choose contractor(s) that best meet(s) the CCWIB’s needs. It is the CCWIB’s intent that no statutory, regulatory, or common law bidding requirement apply to this Request For Proposals. The County of Camden intends to award any contract(s) for these services pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a)(ii).
